The kin of abducted Indians met Modi 11 August,2015
The relatives along with the wives of Balaram and Gopi Krishna, the two Indian teachers, who were kidnapped by the Islamic State terror group (ISIS) in Libya, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought the government's help for securing the teachers release at the earliest. Uppal MLA NVVS Prabakar brought them to Delhi and met with Central Minister with the help of Malkajgiri MP Mallareddy. Later they also met with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

We gave a memorandum to the Prime Minister. He said that the process was on and he will look into the matter. He also said that he will talk to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. The Prime Minister asked us to be confident and not to lose hope," Sreedevi, wife of Balram, said after meeting Modi here. They later, met with Sushma Swaraj who explained the efforts being taken by the Indian authorities in Libya, to rescue the nationals.
