Born to Shri Bandaru Anjaiah and Smt.Eswaramma on 12th June 1946 at Hyderabad, Mr Badnaru Dattatreya was a keen learner at school and showcased dynamic leadership qualities. Blessed with speaking skills and compassionate nature Mr Dattatreya is popular with people. He actively participated in organising various cultural, social and charitable activities since young age and grown as a leader by the day. 
A modest and very hard working Mr Dattareya was well disciplined in personal and public life. He graduated in B.Sc. from Osmania University and devoted his life to public service. 
As minister of state for Railways he was instrumental in launching the MMTS (Multi Model Transit System) service in Hyderabad. He was part of the prestigious Delhi Metro which as inaugurated by the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in October 2003. He also inaugurated train service between Nizamabad and Dharmabad at Nizamabad railway station. 
Prior to his role in BJP, Mr Dattatreya started his career with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as Pracharak. Mr Bandru Dattatreya was greatly inspired by Prithviraj Chauhan, Bhagat Singh, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee.
In RSS he worked hard towards strengthening and expanding RSS activities in the existing shakhas and, also, creating new ones in interiors of the then Andhra Pradesh.  During the emergency period in 1977 he was jailed. Just after his release he devoted his time by serving in cyclone affected area in Diviseema (Andhra Pradesh).  The cyclone is termed as one of the biggest cyclone in history of Andhra Pradesh till date. With a large group of RSS Volunteers the team marched towards Diviseema and worked on war footing to help the need and misplaced people. 
The team brought in total turnaround in two years by constructing schools, hospital and houses for the poor. The village was named after Sri Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and it was called as Deendayalpuram. Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji and Mr L K Advaniji visited the village. Impressed by his sheer dedication and hard work Mr Vajpayee ji invited Sri Dattatreya to join BJP during a public meeting.

Personal Life: 

Mr Dttaterya is marrried to Smt. Vasantha on 17th May 1989 and has a daughter and son. He is very close to his family and spends time with them whenever possible. 

Mr Dattaterya’s Vision:

To see INDIA the most powerful and developed nation in the world and I envisage India as golden Bird again in near future. Emphasis will be given to health, education, agriculture and infrastructure. India is supported by millions of able, skillful, hard working and patriotic citizens, will be empowered and guided to generate large number of employment opportunities to one and all. 

Youth have to be imparted the skills required to become employable and get absorbed in the expanding manufacturing sector. ESSENTIAL SERVICES such as health & family welfare, education, integrated child development, clean water, electricity and rural development will be given the utmost importance. 
We need the right leadership which can rise over narrow partisan interests and do what is best in the nation's interest. We have to be big on ideas and go all out to implement them. India will become self sustain by utilizing its rich natural resources and exporting the surplus to the world. This will lead to become major world Exporter. Its GDP will be above 1000 trillion rupees, as Indian RUPEE will be the major trading currency in the world. There will be free trade, license-free administration and above all absolute NO CORRUPTION. India to become superpower in the world, people will live in peace & harmony and all the religions will thrive. 
All the above is sure to take place only if we have a strong political will, young youth brigade and an excellent corruption-free administration.

Chief Ministers meeting is good for both the states: Bandaru dattatreya

BJP Senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya said that the meeting between chief ministers of both the states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is a step towards development of both the states.
Speaking to media persons, Dattatreya said that BJP in state and in central has made lot of efforts for the meeting to come into reality. He said even after the bifurcation of the state, Telugu speaking people are the one.
The Secunderabad MP said that NDA government is ready to help both the state governments for their development. He also suggested Telangana government not create new problems with the name of survey.
