BJP Held a Meet to Draw Action Plan for Upcoming GHMC Elections

BJP State leaders are focusing on upcoming GHMC Elections. Hence they conducted a meeting in Kukatpally. Kishan Reddy and leaders of the GHMC limit attended the meet.

They discussed about an action plan to ensure their party wins the GHMC election. They also discussed other aspects such as publicity.

Arun Jaitley will lead Indian Delegation to World Bank Spring Meeting

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will leave for the US on Tuesday night of April 14 to attend IMF-World Bank Spring meeting in Washingon.  From 17th April  onwards the three day spring meeting will be held. Our Nation, India is likely to figure prominently at the meeting.

French Visa in 48 Hours to Indians

The French government also informed that it will provide tourist visa to Indian tourist within 48 hours.
The Indian Prime Minister said every nation has to lend support in the fight against the terror and should not allow the terror groups to take shelter.  Punishment should be soon rendered to terrorist.
Agreeing to Modi, French President said that both countries will unite and continue to fight terror and ensure to have peace in the world. 

BJP Leader Laxman Surveys Turkayamjal Lake

In the outskirts of Hyderabad, MLA Laxman made a survey of Turkayamjal Lake. The leader questioned the government as to why In Mission Kakatiya, this lake has not been adopted.
He also raised another question on this occasion regarding omission of lakes nearing to Hyderabad.

BJP’s National Office Bearers Met

On Wednesday, BJP’s national office bearers met to set the agenda for the two-day national executive that would begin on Friday in Bengaluru. The security has strengthened for this meeting.

The BJP National President Amit Shah would preside over the meeting. The top leaders from Karnataka will also attend the meeting. P.M. Narendra Modi is expected to arrive from New Delhi to Bangalore at midnight 2 P.M. to attend the national executive meet on Friday and Saturday.

Modi asks his Ministers to get Feedback from Public on Government Policies

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held meeting with Ministers of State with independent Charge to know about their work and asked the ministers to get feedback from the public about government’s policies. The BJP Chief, Amit Shah was also present in the meeting.
Few Key ministries are now headed Ministers of state having independent charge instead of full-fledged cabinet Ministers.
The meeting was held for more than two hours and they have discussed achievements of different ministries. They have also taken feedback to decide its future goals for the coming year.

Modi Raises Concern on Train Delays

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has raised concerns about train delays and has asked the Railway Ministry to tone up the system.

The Senior Railway Ministry, who monitor's passenger's train movement, has said, that he has passed instruction to all concerned who put efforts to run train on time. He further added that these instructions will also help in preventing late arrivals and departures.

BJP Leader Kishan Reddy has demanded for full fledged discussion on fault happening during national anthem in Telangana Legislative Assembly. He added that, without making any announcement, it is wrong to play the national anthem.  The speaker should take responsibility for this particular action. The suspension of TDP leaders is one sided decision of the government.  And it should stop this one sided approach, said the minister. 

KCR mind game with Andra people for GHMC

BJP leader N Ramchander Rao stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has changed his opinion on settlers to win the upcoming GHMC elections. He also scorned KCR for praising the media’s role in Telangana statehood movement whilst trying to restrict press freedom on the other. He added that BJP always supported minor states for administration convenience but not for regional differences. He condemned the government for proposed restrictions on the media in Secretariat. There are number of media centers and media points till yesterday but now the TRS seems there is no need of media. 

BJP wins Panaji assembly seat for sixth time

BJP today won the Panaji assembly constituency bypoll, retaining the seat that was held by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar since 1994.
   
BJP candidate Siddharth Kuncolienkar won the by-election by a margin of 5,368 votes defeating his immediate rival and Congress nominee Surendra Furtado.

Democracy allows movement without constraint: Kishan Reddy

Telangana State Bharatiya Janata Party President, Kishan Reddy revealed that, according to democracy anyone can travel anywhere. In response to the opposition of Chandrababu Naidu’s tour, he has responded as aforesaid. However, TDP has to give proper resolution in the case of electricity generation. Telangana state samithi is all about making fake promises and not putting them into action, says Kishan Reddy. He further added that till date, they have made around 16 lakhs membership registrations and TRS government is not giving them the priority to fight in the Telangana movement.
He further questioned why they are not giving priority for Kodandaram. They have to take back their increased rates of electricity charges and with the rise in electricity tariff.

Schedule of Legislative elections released

The Election Commission has released the Telangana legislative council’s election schedule on Wednesday and has noted that the complete election notification will be released on February 19. The Election Commission further added that they will release the MLC notification on 19 of this month and adoption and withdrawal of nominations will be on 26 February and 2 March.  Finally, polling and counting of votes will be on 16 and 19 March. With the release of MLC election schedule, election model code of conduct is about to come into effect and for two graduate MLC positions in Telangana, election is to be held soon.

Elections will be conducted for all the MLC graduate positions in Telangana regions of Mahbubnagar, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda.

Palamuru occupants presented request document to Kishan Reddy

Lift irrigation scheme occupants’ community leaders presented the request document to Kishan Reddy on the re-survey of state government’s newly proposed Palamuru-Ranga Reddy irrigation plan. Occupants have submitted their request form during Kishan Reddy’s visit to district center, Brindavan Gardens.
Occupants of the region have requested the ministry to reduce the plain areas in the Irrigation scheme and have asked to change the design of the project. They further asked the Kishan Reddy to take their demands into the notice of the existing government.
With respect to which Kishan Reddy responded positively and have ensured the occupants that he will fight for their demands with the government on the proposal of lift irrigation plan and will also strive to provide proper justice to them, says the village community occupants.

State BJP leaders campaigning in Delhi

BJP has taken Delhi assembly elections as challenging and has started its wide-range campaign in the regions where significant number of Telugu people are there.  Labor minister Bandaru Dattatreya and Telangana state BJP President G. BJP’s disagreement with forcible religious conversions: Muralidhar Rao

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stated that it is conflicting to aggressive religious conversions across the country and if some groups are involving in such actions they are going against the spirit of the Constitution.

Speaking at a press conference, the national general secretary of the BJP party, P.Muralidhar Rao stated that the party had not encouraged any group that was given way to changing the religion of the people.

BJP leader Pankaj Verma shot dead in Bihar

A local BJP leader was today shot dead by unidentified assailants in Munger district of Bihar triggering protest by locals who indulged in stone-pelting and torched police vehicles.

Pankaj Verma was shot at by the miscreants at Maksas Bazar area when he was on his way home after offering prayers at a temple, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Sadar, Kundan Kumar said.

Verma, who was the president of the BJP district unit (farmers' front), died on spot, he said.

BJP activists invaded electricity sub-station in Nalgonda

In a protest to power cuts to the fields, farmers and BJP activists invaded Nade gudam electricity sub-station in Nalgonda district.
